Cedar Rapids, nicknamed the ‘City of Five Seasons,’ is the second-largest city in the state of Iowa, and it’s flourishing. The metropolitan population is nearly 140,000 people, but when combined with neighboring communities like Marion and Hiawatha, that number jumps to nearly 300,000.

Much of the city’s charm lies in its distinct neighborhoods. The vibrant NewBo District features a bustling city market, local shops, and boutiques, while the historic Czech Village offers year-round events, entertainment, and authentic dining. Nearby, historic residential pockets like Wellington Heights showcase the city’s architectural character, while the north side seamlessly transitions into Marion-adjacent neighborhoods known for their quiet streets and easy suburban access.

Together, these areas support a rich arts and cultural community with major attractions like the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, Paramount Theatre, Orchestra Iowa, Theatre Cedar Rapids, and the African American Museum of Iowa.
