Lone Tree

A TREEmendous Place to Live

Lone Tree derived its name from a giant elm that once stood on a hill south of town. It’s a relaxed type of place with a welcoming, small-town feel, where you’ll get to know your neighbors and become part of the community.

Minutes from the Avenue of the Saints and Interstates 80 and 380, Lone Tree is a short drive from the conveniences of its neighboring cities. But residents also have access to the necessities without leaving town—the town has a grocery store, medical clinic, gas stations, wellness center, pizza parlor, and other local businesses. For the younger population, this city has its own school district, where the preschool and K-12 school are housed in the same building.

In the fall, the Lone Tree Fall Festival brings the community together for a full day of events, including a parade, fun run, human foosball competition, tractor pull, and water fights.
