Ask anyone who’s teamed up with Raquel—they’ll tell you she has a way of making everyone around her better. A North Liberty native and Liberty High grad, Raquel took that energy to Mount Mercy University, where she played college softball and figured out what she already suspected: she’s wired to motivate, uplift, and keep things fun. 

Before joining Urban Acres, Raquel worked as a surgical sales consultant, drawn to the idea of helping people and changing lives. But real estate was always in the back of her mind. She interned with Jan Crosby and Chris Campbell Boddicker early on and never quite got real estate out of her system. Now she’s a licensed REALTOR®.

Raquel met her fiancé, Brandon, at Mount Mercy (he played baseball). Together, they’re involved with the Alzheimer’s Association and deeply rooted in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids area. When she’s not working, you’ll find Raquel on a patio, rooting for the Hawkeyes, catching a baseball game, trying a new recipe, or out on a walk.
