Robyn’s Australian Shepherd, Tempe, can do just about any trick you can think of. It’s a small glimpse into two qualities that come naturally to Robyn: patience and a knack for teaching. She brings both to real estate, helping clients understand the process, know what to expect, and feel confident along the way.

Before getting into real estate, Robyn spent 24 years in healthcare, including two decades as a Certified Recreation Therapist in child psychiatry inpatient care, later transitioning into clinical research. Working closely with people and serving as a steady support for families has been at the heart of her professional life.

Real estate is familiar ground for Robyn. She has owned, managed, and invested in rental properties for more than 14 years. Having also built a custom home and bought and sold properties of her own, she offers clients firsthand insight into the many facets of homeownership.

Joining Carrie Floss’s team was a natural next step. Robyn and Carrie have known each other for more than 25 years, and their longtime friendship is built on trust, shared values, and a strong work ethic. Robyn brings her own experience and perspective to the team while working closely with Carrie to serve clients throughout the Corridor.

Robyn has called the Iowa City area home since 1996 and is a University of Iowa graduate. After spending nearly 30 years in the Corridor, she has deep roots in the community and a genuine appreciation for the local neighborhoods and people.

Outside of work, Robyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to a good podcast, running the trails at Kent Park and Lake Macbride, and cheering from the sidelines at her kids’ activities. A lifelong animal lover, former athlete, and 4-H rodeo competitor, she holds a soft spot for horses alongside her dogs, Tempe and Ruthie (a Yorkiepoo).

With a background rooted in care, years of hands-on property experience, and an investor’s perspective, Robyn brings a thoughtful, practical approach to every client she serves.
